These were "real" musicians that put their heart and soul into the music, They didn't do it for the love of the bling, but rather for the love of the craft. They didn't have all of the electronics and gadgets that you see today, and some even played on borrowed instruments. This is where it all started, and now it seems, has ended.
Now is the time to bring back the "Old Skool" funk music. We need singers and musicians that will play the positive "head bobbin" funk that you can put in your car and ride to. Music without guns and drug dealing, crime and hate, love songs about real love and not abuse. Music to dance to and have a good time. Just plain old Funk!
